About FCTW

A distributed week of programming built by and for the Folsom and Rancho Cordova technology community.

The Folsom and Rancho Cordova corridor builds an enormous amount of technology — healthcare platforms, government systems, hardware, AI tooling — and almost none of it gets talked about outside the buildings where it happens. Folsom Cordova Tech Week exists to change that.

FCTW treats Folsom and Rancho Cordova as one connected innovation ecosystem. Instead of one convention hall, the week is spread across coworking hubs, community venues, the historic district and Lake Natoma. Anyone can host: a session, a workshop, a trail run, a tasting. We call the small ones Pocket Events, and they are where most of the real connections get made.

Programming is organized around four pillars — Artificial Intelligence; Startups, Capital and Growth; GovTech and Civic Innovation; and HealthTech and Human Performance — alongside startup programming, curated networking and signature experiences.

FCTW is operated by the Granite City Entrepreneurship Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and run by volunteers from regional employers, the community college district, city economic development teams and the startup community.
